The Polymer Engineering Department at the College of Materials Engineering, University of Babylon, will host a discussion session on the topic of "Preparation and Characterization of Super Absorbent Polymers (SAPs) for Engineering Applications Using Various Techniques." The session will be led by Professor Dr. Awda Jabbar Barihi and Assistant Professor Dr. Saleh Abbas Habib, both faculty members at the College of Materials Engineering. The event will take place on February 19, 2022, and will focus on the latest techniques and methods used in the preparation and characterization of SAPs, which are widely used in various engineering applications. The discussion will cover topics such as the physical properties of monomers, the chemical structure of reactants, and the cross-link density of SAPs.
